A memorable house full of memories of Šumava.
In Horní Planá there is the birthplace of the famous Šumava author Adalbert Stifter, who wrote in German about his beloved Šumava. The 17th century cottage is a protected monument and is a branch of the Český Krumlov Regional Museum. The exhibition introduces visitors to the relationship of Stifter to his native land, and his creative work.
