Monastery of extraordinary value.
The Monastery of Milevsko is a truly unique monument. In the Czech Republic it ranks among the most valuable monuments in the Romanesque style and at the same time it is the oldest monastery and the only Romanesque basilica in South Bohemia. The monastery is a national cultural monument and church ceremonies and cultural events take place here. In earlier times it was the center of spiritual, cultural and economic life.

Introduction to the history of the monastery and the present Premonstratensian order. You will be able to admire Romanesque architectural treasures, majestic Gothic or pompous Baroque.
The life of the Premonstratensian brothers
The exhibition will provide visitors with information about the history of the Milevsko monastery and its important personalities and the contemporary life of the Order's brothers.
Organ tour with samples - order in advance only
A tour of the organ with an account of the history and principle of how the organ works along with examples of organ compositions.
The monastery is located in the tourist area of Toulava.
