More than 700 pieces of military equipment.
The museum is located in the former barracks. Various military equipment from 1890 to the present is presented in the halls. There are over 700 exhibits in the museum. Its size makes it one of the most important European institutions in this field.
Important collections of the museum include a collection of Czechoslovak military vehicles (tanks, motorcycles, trucks) from the period 1918-1939 and a collection of Škoda cannons. There are rare exhibits of rocket technology and tanks from the Cold War in the museum.
Tip:
Popular events are the so-called Tank Days, which are held regularly on the last Saturday at the end of the holiday season. The museum also offers other programs with demonstrations of military equipment.
