Museum presenting several historical periods.
The Municipal Museum in Sedlčany has eight expositions altogether. The museum's collections contain around 1,700 archaeological finds. In the prehistoric and medieval expositions, various finds from old instruments to ceramics and a 15th century skull can be seen.
The Guild Room introduces the craft tools of medieval times and the modern exposition looks into the modern history of Sedlčany. Last but not least, Jakub Krčín is introduced, as well as items commemorating the composer Josef Suk - clothes, costumes, embroidery, coins, furniture, books, photographs, posters, writings, but also a phonotheque and video library.
The Sedlčany Museum is located in the Toulava tourist area.
