Zbyněk Hraba's Linocut Exhibition and Photo Contest in the VK37 Gallery.

In the gallery VK37 in Kralupy nad Vltavou you can visit the exhibition of linocuts by Zbyněk Hraba.
The exhibition will run until August 31, 2019.

The exhibition will mainly present linocuts inspired by nature, especially Šumava. Linocuts are not the only thing you will see at the exhibition. Zbyněk Hraba is also involved in painting and typography.

About the author

Zbyněk Hraba was born in 1960 and graduated from the Secondary Technical School of Graphic Design. He subsequently graduated from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. For many years he worked as an art editor for various publishing houses, e.g. Albatros. He graphically edited books and magazines.

Photo competition  

At the same time, there is a photographic contest called “THE BEAUTY OF (AB)NORMALITY” in the gallery. The contest runs until September 15, 2019, when you can send your printed photos to the gallery address. The competition is designed for both amateurs and professionals and the aim of the competition is to show the beauty of ordinary things in extraordinary photos.
