South Bohemia will get 150 km of cycle paths.

The Vltava cycle path will lead from Nová Pec to Týn nad Vltavou.

The planned route is already partially completed.

There are finished sections between Frymburk and Horní Planá, Frymburk and Lipno nad Vltavou, České Budějovice and Hluboká nad Vltavou and Hluboká nad Vltavou and Purkarec.

Designing the remaining sections is often not easy and implementation is very expensive. South Bohemia is very busy with cyclists and dangerous situations often arise on the roads, for example, injuries often occur in the section from Lipno nad Vltavou to Loučovice. Both the undisciplined cyclists and the heavy traffic are to blame. Thanks to the Vltava cycle path, both drivers and cyclists will be relieved.

The deadline is not set yet, but we will surely wait a few more years.
