Komponovaný večer: Byl Kafka v Krumlově?

This year we commemorate the 100th anniversary of the death of the writer F. Kafka (1883-1924). As part of the UNESCO Cultural Heritage project in Český Krumlov, you can enjoy an accompanying program - on Thursday, September 19 from 6 p.m. in the Synagogue in Český Krumlov. Two traveling panel exhibitions of the project - KafkaOrte and 20 neglected Jewish personalities of the project - are currently installed in the garden of the synagogue.

The composed program will offer

  • Thomas Samhaber will present his book Meeting on the Border (Begegnung an der Grenze), in which the meeting of Franz Kafka and Milena Jesenská in Gmünd/České Velenice in 1920 is recorded.
  • Gabriela Kalinová, the curator of the KafkaOrte exhibition , will present other places of residence of Franz Kafka in the Czech Republic and abroad.
  • The course and end of the evening will be made more pleasant by the band Lakomá Barka.
