Most of the premises of the military district of Boletice have been closed to the civilian population for almost 80 years. The exhibition gives a unique opportunity to look into this area and at the same time get to know the lesser-known and very rich local history.
The purpose of the exhibition is to present a little-known part of the Český Krumlov district and its complex history, which is presented from prehistoric times to the present day, as well as the work of the Army of the Czech Republic, Military Forests and estates and other entities operating in the district. The central theme is military history connected with the territory of the current military district since 1938.
