We will walk the famous Arctic Circle Trail, which will take us to the endless Greenland ice sheet. In harbors with brightly colored houses, we get a glimpse into the history of the settlement of Greenland and the life of the current inhabitants. Due to the weather, we will be stuck in the port of Sisimiut for a week, but this will bring unexpected extra experiences. Since the small planes did not fly between the cities, we had to get a boat as the only option to get on the big plane back to Europe. In the end, the epic evacuation cruise through the icy sea and fjord, which is not normally sailed, became our most powerful experience.
