Significant monuments and folk architecture.
Týn nad Vltavou, one of the oldest settlements in South Bohemia, was the main center of rafting (together with Prague's Podskalí).
The cycling path will take you from Týn to Albrechtice nad Vltavou with the Romanesque church of Sts. Peter and Paul, one of the most important monuments of South Bohemia. 108 chapels with paintings and verse by folk artists adjoin the church cemetery wall. After visiting the church and the cemetery, you can have a snack in the local pub.
The road will lead you to the village of Kluky with its beautiful houses with decorative shields. The first mention of the village dates back to 1323, but in the surrounding woods there are pagan graves (mounds) that prove the settlement of people long before.
In Záhoří you can see the church and the rectory on the village square, which are listed in the List of Cultural Monuments in the Písek District.
You can admire folk architecture and monuments in numerous other villages along the way.
However, the route doesn't end until you reach Zvíkovské podhradí under the Zvíkov Castle. It is a frequently visited destination with various accommodation options, and you can also appreciate the local brewery for your regeneration at night.
