Pleasant trail through Rožmberk and small villages.
This route is only 31 km long, so if you have not yet visited the monastery in Vyšší Brod, you have the perfect opportunity to do it in the morning.
When you get on your bike, you will have to overcome the first climb through Hrudkov to Rožmberk. In Rožmberk you can visit the castle and a restaurant. We recommend to eat here because there are limited dining options on the way to Český Krumlov.
From Rožmberk you have to climb above the level of the Vltava River, and then follow the right bank all the way to Krumlov. The trail will lead you to Zátoň with the Church of St. John the Baptist belonging to the local Roman Catholic parish. In the Middle Ages there was a small monastery founded by monks from the monastery in Ostrov u Davle.
The rolling asphalt road you will lead you to Český Krumlov, where you will find plenty of guest houses, hotels and restaurants.
