Wonderful world of circus and puppetry.
The Museum of Czech Puppets and Circus in Prachatice offers two attractive exhibitions. In the first one, visitors are introduced to the history of puppetry, which includes family, community theaters, and professional scenes. The main attraction of the exposition are puppets made according to the models of M. Aleš, V. Sucharda or J. Trnka. The second exposition is dedicated to the circus life with various equipment and costumes. Last but not least, we find a unique traveling attraction with historical value here - wax heads of historical figures, and a moving mermaid.
