Short stage full of monuments and attractions for all age groups.
You will fit in České Budějovice - you will probably not find another city in the Czech Republic with so many locals on bicycles. The city of České Budějovice lies in the basin, so cycling around sightseeing will not really be much work.
One of the most beautiful historical centers in the Czech Republic is dominated by Přemysl Otakar II Square, which is also the second largest square-shaped square in the Czech Republic.
From Budějovice you can easily reach the busy but still very enjoyable cycle path to Hluboká, where you will have to watch out for in-line skaters.
You could spend the whole day in Hluboká, and then the whole evening in the local microbrewery there.
From Hluboká, the cycling path leads through a picturesque section along the Vltava River, below the beautiful Baba Viewpoint. However, to get to the viewpoint, you would have to walk up along a red-marked path, as there is no path for bikes.
You will also go past Karlův Hrádek (the Charles Castle), which is definitely worth a short break stop.
The stage ends in Týn nad Vltavou, which offers fun on the river and many dining and accommodation options.
